Seemed appropriate as we’re on the verge of what I expect to be a pretty dark time for people living on the edge of poverty. Gang of Four was a progenitor of the “alternative” genre, melding pop and punk into a thoughtful, energetic sound. They don’t get as much credit as they deserve. Judge for yourself.
