Young Widows – Young Rivers

Here’s a band adjacent to a band I love (Coliseum) by way of brothers Evan and Ryan Patterson. Young Widows is still relatively new to me, although they have been steadily making records for the past decade. The music is right in my wheelhouse – heavy but melodic, thoughtful, and sometimes punishingly heavy.
